We are looking for an Agency Business Consultant to join our dynamic team. A Farmers Insurance Agency Business Consultant (ABC) is an insurance professional who acts as a business coach for Farmers agency owners. Their primary goal is to help these owners grow and strengthen their businesses through recruiting, reporting, and training.
Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Hands on Training
Experience: Previous business, sales, or management experience is highly valued. Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
Business Acumen: Strong problem-solving abilities and a solid understanding of business principles are essential to help agency owners succeed.
Licensing: Candidates must have or be willing to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses.
Soft Skills: Effective communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills are crucial for this role, as the consultant must inspire and guide others.
Business Coaching and Consultation: ABCs conduct regular visits and consultations with agency owners to help them establish business goals and create strategies to achieve them.
Performance Management: They evaluate agency performance and provide recommendations for increasing productivity and profitability. This can include analyzing current practices and offering solutions for improved efficiency.
Training and Support: A significant part of the role is providing ongoing coaching and training to agency owners and their staff. This includes sales training, enhancing quote volume, and improving conversion ratios.
New Agent Support: ABCs assist new agents with business planning, setting up their office locations, and recommending effective marketing systems.
Leadership and Strategy: They may be involved in managing in-house business development teams and creating new sales and marketing strategies.
