Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales team in Mankato, MN. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth, developing strategic plans, and leading high-performing teams.

Lead and Grow a Team: Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team focused on delivering exceptional client experiences.

Drive Community Engagement: Become a trusted local resource by building strong relationships with individuals, families, and businesses in the Saint Cloud area.

Execute Sales Strategies: Develop and implement sales plans that drive growth across personal, commercial, life, and financial products.

Create Financial Freedom: Establish multiple streams of income—including new business commissions, renewal income, performance bonuses, and potential equity options.

Leverage Training & Support: Utilize award-winning training from the University of Farmers® and benefit from ongoing mentorship from a dedicated District Manager.

Deliver Real Impact: Help protect what matters most to your clients while building a business that creates legacy and lifestyle freedom.

Salary Range: $225,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.​

Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.​

Strong understanding of sales strategies and market dynamics.​

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.​

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Sales Leadership: Achieve sales goals by implementing innovative sales and marketing strategies.

Client Development: Generate new business through proactive prospecting and conducting outside sales calls.​

Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor sales staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.​

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute sales programs to increase market share and profitability

Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales data to assess performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
