About the Role

As an Agent in Training, you’ll work closely with an established Farmers Insurance agent while receiving comprehensive training and hands-on experience. This program is tailored to prepare you for agency ownership by equipping you with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to run a thriving business in your community.

What You’ll Do

Learn by Doing: Partner with an experienced agent to gain firsthand experience in sales, customer service, and business management.

Build Key Skills: Master marketing strategies, client relationship management, and business operations with guidance from the University of Farmers®.

Serve the Community: Help clients identify insurance solutions that protect what matters most to them.

Prepare for Agency Ownership: Receive one-on-one coaching to transition from the Agent in Training program to owning your own Farmers Insurance agency in Windom.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking individuals with:

A self-starter attitude and the drive to succeed.

Sales, customer service, or business experience (preferred but not required).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

A growth mindset with the ability to learn and adapt.

The ability to obtain necessary insurance licensing (assistance provided).
