About the Role

As an Agent in Training, you’ll gain real-world experience while developing the skills and knowledge needed to run a successful insurance agency. You’ll work alongside an established agent and District 54 leaders who are committed to your growth, offering the guidance and tools necessary to thrive in Lakeville’s growing market.

What You’ll Do

Learn the Business: Gain hands-on experience in sales, customer service, marketing, and agency operations while working with an experienced agent.

Hone Your Skills: Develop expertise in business planning, client relationship management, and insurance solutions with training from the University of Farmers®.

Serve Your Community: Build relationships and help clients protect what matters most to them through personalized insurance solutions.

Prepare for Ownership: Receive personalized coaching to transition from Agent in Training to agency ownership in one of Minnesota’s most dynamic communities.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for individuals who:

Have an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for personal and professional growth.

Possess sales, customer service, or business experience (preferred but not required).

Are strong communicators and skilled at building relationships.

Have a positive, proactive attitude and can work independently.

Are willing to obtain required insurance licensing (support provided).
