About the Role

As an Agency Apprentice, you’ll work closely with an experienced Farmers Insurance agent, learning every aspect of the business. From sales and marketing to customer service and business operations, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to step into agency ownership.

What You’ll Do

Learn on the Job: Partner with an experienced agent to develop expertise in sales, marketing, and agency management.

Build Business Skills: Master essential skills like business planning, customer relationship management, and marketing with training from the University of Farmers®.

Engage Locally: Build relationships with Willmar families and businesses, becoming a trusted advisor in the community.

Prepare for Ownership: Transition seamlessly from apprentice to owning your own Farmers Insurance agency with comprehensive mentorship and support.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking individuals with:

A self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset.

Sales, customer service, or business experience (preferred but not required).

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

A positive attitude and a commitment to personal and professional growth.

A willingness to obtain necessary insurance licensing (support provided).
