Heidrick & Co. Insurance is a locally owned, independent P&C agency with offices in Sanibel and Fort Myers. Although this position is open due to a staff change, our agency of 18 dedicated professionals is growing. Advancement opportunities are available for candidates seeking a long-term career.

We are seeking a full-time, local employee who will split time between our Sanibel and Fort Myers offices. Upon successful completion of the training program, an option to work from home on scheduled days may be available.

Salary Range: $36,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in a busy, retail agency.
  • Florida 2-20 General Lines agent license required. A 4-40 license may be considered with a committment to obtain a 2-20.


  • Experience with Vertafore AMS360 ideal, but experience with any agency management or CRM system considered.


  • Strong working knowledge of ACORD applications and carrier supplementals.


  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Teams, Word, Outlook and Excel.
Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include renewal reviews, remarketing efforts, account rounding and policy service for a growing commercial book of business. Individual will prepare ACORD applications/submissions, update policy details in the agency management system, create invoices, set up premium finance agreements and assist with billing and much more.
