Job Overview

We're an established Farmers Insurance Agency seeking a professional bound individual who is detailed, efficient, highly organized, and natural born customer service with a desire to make a difference in peoples lives and explore infinite growth opportunities in the insurance industry.

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative who will be providing superb customer service to internal and external customers. The individual in this role will handle all incoming calls, process customer inquires, prepare certificate of insurance, and manage retention alerts, and provide clerical support to the Sales/Administration team.

Salary Range: $16.00 - $18.00 per year

Requirements
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) - effectively communicate with all levels of Admin Team, customers, vendors, and team members, and external parties
  • Ability to prioritize and be efficient in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organization skills, and detail oriented
  • Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM system)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion of sensitive information
  • Bilingual - Spanish Preferred
  • Insurance License is Beneficial or willing to get licensed within 90 days of employment
  • Farmers Insurance Experience is a PLUS.
Responsibilities
  • Answer Incoming calls, listen and understand customer issues while offering meaningful solutions.
  • Manage customer retention alerts - contact clients for payment reminders, satisfy pending required documents, review and handle renewal requirements, underwriting requests
  • Prepare certificate of Insurance and Endorsements
  • Assist in Sales team with pending documents needed to complete policy binding
  • Accept project/tasks delegated to you by Admin/Sales team
  • Perform other duties and special projects as needed
  • Travel as needed for company training
