This job is to sell Personal Insurance services over phone (Car, Home, Boat, RV, ATVs, Life, and small business commercial lines). We are hiring team players with a talent to grow customer relationships in a rewarding environment, while also growing and developing their skills. You will be offered multiple opportunities to create customer relationships while receiving daily coaching in an energetic environment with a flexible work schedule and uncapped compensation.

Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Benefits

You will enjoy a balanced work-life schedule, with a base pay and a simple uncapped commission structure to reward you for your efforts. Your salary starts in the $40K range, however, depending on your experience, you can earn $60K plus. Top producers can achieve $90k plus! 

Commission is paid is 5% of the first $25000 premiums sold, and 10% of any Premium above $25000. *


You will receive $25 per policy sold on a bundle. A Bundle is when one customer/household has two products, for instance, a Home Policy and a Car Policy constitute a bundle. A bundle is not a policy with multiple items, for example, a Car Policy has 2 cars. 


Medical, Vision and Dental benefits:

You will get paid up to $300 per month for these bonuses, either directly to you or we will pay your insurer. You qualify for this benefit after 6 months of employment. 


You will have a week of paid time off for every 6 months of employment up to 3 weeks.


You will have the following paid holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day. This schedule changes yearly and paid holidays apply only when they fall on working days.


You will have 1 day of unpaid time off per month. This unpaid time off is cumulative up to 5 days in a calendar year and you can use it after the first month of employment. It is subject to approval



Requirements
  • Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Create relationships from a cold start.
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
  • Prior Sales Experience.
  • Must be highly self-motivated.
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Follow through and exceed current and prospective client expectations.
  • Great Customer Service Skills.
  • Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe.
  • Successful sales background.
  • Driven and goal-oriented individual.
  • A 440 or 220 State License is preferred but will train good individual.
Responsibilities
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
  • Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
  • Process customer policy change requests.
  • Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.
  • Document each customer contact in eAgent.
  • Take premium payments from customers.
  • Ask each customer for referrals.
  • Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
  • Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
  • Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring.
  • Return all phone messages promptly.
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products.
  • Be outstanding at relationship building.
  • Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls.
  • Call prospective customers by operating VOIP telephones, automatic dialing systems, and other internet technologies.
  • Provides on-going support to insurance clients as needed.
  • Uphold the wants and needs of your customers
  • Educate clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs
  • Provide policies to new clients and explain benefits/risks of the policy
