This role offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Requirements
- Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles, preferably in an insurance agency setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new software systems quickly
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Quickbooks, Quicken, and bank account reconciliation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Manage the Agency Management System and ensure accurate and up-to-date records
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Perform bank account reconciliations and maintain financial records in Quickbooks and Quicken
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to accounting procedures
