Job Overview

The Insurance Sales Representative role is designed for future business owners providing an opportunity to grow their skills and business knowledge to ultimately becoming a Farmers® agency owner while working for an existing Farmers agency owner. The Insurance Sales Representative can learn from an industry professional as well as have access to the award-winning University of Farmers® training program. Earn while You learn!

Salary Range: $125,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Pass a background check in accordance with Farmers guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Prior sales experience (preferred)
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with your mentor Agent to develop confidence and skills needed to become a self-sufficient insurance agent.
  • Assess the unique needs and goals of prospective clients to recommend the most appropriate insurance policy options.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell multiple Personal and Business products, treating each client interaction as a chance to foster new and ongoing business relationships.
