Requirements
State of Michigan Certification(s) ASE Certification: Preferred, but not required Knowledge: Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques Attention to detail: Ability to perform accurate diagnoses and repairs Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
Performing vehicle inspections and conducting thorough diagnosis of mechanical and electrical issues.
Repairing and replacing faulty components, such as brakes, engines, transmissions, and suspension systems.
Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
Assessing and communicating vehicle repair recommendations to customers, providing accurate estimates.
Keeping detailed records of all repairs and maintenance work performed.
Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional customer service.
