Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a customer service representative or account manager in the insurance industry, preferably in personal lines insurance.

Licensing: Active Connecticut Property & Casualty License is required.

Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of personal lines insurance products and coverages.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively explain complex insurance concepts to clients.

Customer Focus: A genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service and exceeding client expectations.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in policy administration and client interactions.

Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Client Management: Proactively manage a portfolio of personal lines insurance accounts, building strong relationships with clients and providing ongoing support.
  • Policy Administration: Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Claims Assistance: Aid clients with the claims process, being their point of contact and guiding them through each step.
  • Coverage Review: Conduct comprehensive coverage reviews with clients to ensure their policies adequately meet their needs and identify opportunities for additional coverage.
  • Client Education: Educate clients on policy details, coverages, and options, helping them make informed decisions about their insurance.
