Harlan Insurance Group is looking for a motivated, career-minded professional to join our growing team.

In this role, you will work directly with the agency owner, receive hands-on coaching, and gain real-world training in how to sell, retain, and grow a successful book of business. This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than just a job. You will learn the business from the ground up, including client relationship building, coverage reviews, cross-selling, retention strategies, and day-to-day agency operations. We are looking for someone who is coachable, driven, professional, and excited to build a long-term career in a high-performance environment.

We believe in investing in the right people. If you are not currently licensed, we will cover the cost of your Property and Casualty licensing course and support you through the licensing process with step-by-step training.

This position is ideal for someone who is competitive, goal-oriented, and motivated by personal growth, professional development, and earning potential.

Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and close

  • Coachable and able to take and apply feedback quickly
  • Consistent, disciplined, and able to handle rejection
  • Willing to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses (preferred if already licensed)
Responsibilities
  • Generate new business through calls, leads, referrals, and networking
  • Quote, present, and close Auto, Home, and Life policies
  • Conduct coverage reviews and cross-sell to grow each account
  • Consistently follow up on leads, quotes, and renewals
  • Meet daily activity and monthly sales goals
