Job Overview

Responsible for providing excellent customer support to policyholders and prospective clients. This role involves answering/routing phone calls, processing payments, and handling administrative tasks, all while working under the guidance of licensed insurance professionals.

Salary Range: $13.50 - $17.00 per hour

Requirements

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain insurance policies, claims, and billing procedures clearly and effectively.

Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on maintaining a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions.

Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, especially in managing customer data and documents.

Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and provide appropriate solutions or escalate to the right department.

Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and manage time well.

Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with customer service software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with team members, including licensed agents and other departments, to deliver optimal service.

Responsibilities

Billing and Payments: Help customers with billing inquiries, payment processing, and any questions regarding premium charges or payment methods.

Documentation Management: Maintain accurate customer records, update databases, and ensure that all customer interactions and transactions are properly logged.

Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
