  • Insurance Account Managers new and learning the insurance industry may make between $40,000 and $50,000 per year. 
  • Insurance Account Managers experienced, working, and learning independently in the insurance industry may make between $50,000 - $65,000 per year.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in personal insurance preferred.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail when reviewing policies, contracts, and client data to minimize errors and ensure the highest level of accuracy.
  • Assess and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance, ensuring that critical client needs are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Candidate must have basic computer software knowledge. This includes being proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Agency Management System (AMS) is a BONUS. 
  • Set and work towards performance goals to meet or exceed targets, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Communicate effectively through written and verbal means, both with clients and team members, to provide clear, concise, and informative responses.
Responsibilities
  • Nurture strong customer relationships and aim to increase client retention and product loyalty.
  • Conducting follow-up discussions with clients to ensure their contentment while progressing towards sales closure.
  • Present and explain insurance policy options based on client needs and personal goals. 
  • Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
  • Ensure consistent and prompt communication with clients to address their needs and concerns to ensure retention standards.
  • Assist clients in navigating their insurance policies and answering any questions they may have.
  • Shop renewals based on client updates and plans and current market conditions.
