**Candidate must have an active Texas General Lines Property & Casualty License to be on-boarded however, Licensing Assistance is Available**

Salary Range: $36,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year

Requirements

Required:


  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (Texas)
  • 1-3 years of client facing/customer service experience
  • Strong communication and emotional intelligence skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort with CRM platforms (AgencyZoom preferred), carrier portals, and digital communication tools


Preferred:


  • Familiarity with consultative insurance practices and the Behavioral Change Stairway Model (BCSM)
  • Experience supporting multi-line accounts (home, auto, umbrella, life, business)
  • Prior use of automation tools, virtual service platforms, and/or Virtual Assistants
  • 1-3 years of client facing/customer service experience in personal lines or small commercial insurance servicing
Responsibilities

Client Service & Relationship Management


  • Serve as a trusted resource for clients, responding to inquiries via phone, text, email, and in-person
  • Proactively identify coverage gaps, opportunities, and cross-sell needs during every interaction
  • Help clients understand policy changes, billing questions, and coverage options in plain, empowering language
  • Provide mid-term and renewal policy reviews and coverage explanations using tools like Loom, AgencyZoom, and Canopy Connect


Policy Servicing & Processing


  • Handle endorsements, policy changes, cancellations, reinstatements, and other routine service transactions
  • Submit underwriting requests, issue certificates, and process ID cards/documents efficiently and accurately
  • Follow up on open service requests and maintain clear documentation in our CRM and carrier portals


Team Collaboration & Culture


  • Coordinate with our licensed Advisors, Account Managers, and Virtual Assistants to provide seamless service
  • Support the sales team by reinforcing our value proposition and converting service interactions into retention opportunities
  • Embody The Powell Agencys voice and values in every client and carrier interaction
