The Atlantic District is opening the door to something special in Rumford, Maine. We are looking for a Founding Partner - Insurance Agency who wants more than a desk and a title. Salary Range: $220,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year

Property and Casualty insurance license or ability to obtain one within the required timeframe
Proven experience in insurance sales, agency ownership, or account management
Strong understanding of personal lines and/or commercial lines insurance products
Ability to build, maintain, and grow a book of business through relationship-based selling
Excellent communication skills with a clear, approachable style
Comfortable working independently while helping shape a new agency from the ground up
Strong organization and follow-through when managing leads, policies, and client renewals
Familiarity with CRM systems, quoting platforms, and standard agency software
Preferred: Experience launching or helping grow an insurance agency
Preferred: Knowledge of the Rumford, Maine market and surrounding communities
Help establish and grow The Atlantic District as a trusted insurance agency in Rumford and the surrounding area
Develop lasting client relationships by offering guidance that fits each customer’s needs and goals
Generate new business through referrals, outreach, and consistent follow-up
Present and explain insurance options in a way that feels clear, honest, and easy to understand
Review existing policies and identify opportunities to better protect clients and improve coverage
Work closely with clients during onboarding, policy changes, renewals, and ongoing account service
Support the early growth of the agency by helping shape processes, client experience, and service standards
Stay informed on carrier offerings, product updates, and market changes that affect clients
Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, policies, and communications
Represent the agency with professionalism, care, and a genuine interest in the people you serve
