Salary Range: $220,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year

Requirements

Active Property & Casualty insurance license, or willingness to obtain it if required by the role.

Prior experience in insurance sales, account management, or a related client-facing sales role.

Strong communication skills for clear, confident conversations by phone, email, and in person.

Ability to listen carefully, ask the right questions, and recommend coverage that fits each customer’s needs.

Comfort working with CRM systems, policy software, and standard office tools.

Solid organizational skills and attention to detail when managing quotes, renewals, and policy changes.

Ability to work on-site in Rockland, Maine.

Nice-to-have: experience with personal lines, commercial lines, or both.

Nice-to-have: familiarity with local insurance markets and community-based sales.

Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with new and existing clients by offering thoughtful, helpful insurance guidance.

Identify coverage needs, prepare quotes, and present policy options in a clear and approachable way.

Follow up with prospects and clients to support new business, renewals, and account retention.

Help customers make informed decisions by explaining policy details, limits, and available coverage options.

Maintain accurate records of client interactions, applications, quotes, and policy updates.

Work closely with internal staff and carriers to resolve questions, process changes, and keep accounts moving smoothly.

Meet sales goals while delivering a positive experience that makes clients feel heard and supported.

Stay current on product knowledge, underwriting guidelines, and changes in the insurance landscape.
