Master Electrician/Solar Technician


Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications, as well as proficiency with various tools and equipment used in the trade. The Master Electrician will ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Experience

Proven experience as a Master Electrician with a strong background in both high voltage and low voltage systems.

Familiarity with construction site environments and the ability to work effectively in various conditions.

Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other relevant equipment.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply logic controllers in troubleshooting scenarios.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and contractors.

Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations.

Salary Range: $96,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Requirements

Valid Master Electrician License (State of Texas or applicable state)

Journeyman Electrician License (if Master not required but preferred)


NABCEP Certification (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) – preferred


OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification


Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Responsibilities

Lead electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, and control systems.

Utilize hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other equipment to perform electrical tasks efficiently.

Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic tools to identify problems and implement effective solutions.

Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects to ensure proper electrical installations.

Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.

Provide guidance and training to junior electricians and apprentices on best practices in the field.
