We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of both high voltage and low voltage systems, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Lead Electrician will play a crucial role in building and maintaining electrical systems in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

Several years of hands-on solar installation experience

Experience with residential/commercial PV systems, racking, and electrical components

Technical Skills

Ability to read plans, schematics, and electrical diagrams.

Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely.

Knowledge of PV mounting systems, inverters, wiring, and safety protocols.

Lead and coordinate installer crews, mentor junior team members.

Communicate with operations managers, inspectors, and sometimes customers.

Directing crews during installation projects.

Ensuring installations meet safety, quality, and code standards.

Troubleshooting issues on site and performing quality checks.

Training and mentoring junior installers.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians on-site.

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local codes and regulations.

Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.

Utilize hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and other equipment effectively for electrical work.

Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.

Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.

Train and mentor junior electricians in best practices and safety procedures.

Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
