The Placement Specialist Assistant is responsible for assisting the Placement Specialists in quoting Commercial Lines new business and re-marketing existing clients' renewal policies.

1. 1High school equivalency; college degree and insurance placement-related work experience a plus
2. Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
3. Highly detail-oriented; strong organizational skills
4. Self-motivated and self-starter, ability to work well independently yet function as part of a team
5. Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; excellent customer service

 

1. The principal duties and responsibilities (essential functions) are as follows:
2. Online quoting as directed by the Placement Specialist
3. Assist with preparing client and prospect proposals
4. Assist with generating Acord applications
5. Follow-up on quote status as directed by the Placement Specialist
6. Create and maintain status reports
7. Closing out marketing files
8. Coordination of carrier visits
