Symphony Risk Solutions seeks the ideal candidate for an Account Manager position within Symphony Health, our specialty business focused on the insurance needs within the healthcare industry. This position will manage Symphony Health client accounts and work in support of Senior leaders. This role requires the candidate to be eager to learn, self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency. Develop, maintain, and expand client relationships through prompt, pleasant and efficient handling of day-to-day account management.
In office candidates for the St. Louis, MO office is preferred. Hybrid (3 days in office - minimum). Will also consider candidates in Dallas, TX and Chicago, IL.
Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year

The most qualified candidate will possess the following:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance and Risk Management, Business, or related field preferred
· Minimum of two (2) years of related commercial, underwriting, or risk management experience
· Prior brokerage, insurance industry and/or client services experience strongly preferred
· Knowledge and understanding of property & casualty lines of coverages (experience in healthcare lines of business preferred)
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
· Advanced working knowledge of spreadsheet applications and formula calculations
· High aptitude for mathematical calculations including multiplication, division, and percentages
· Professional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of associates/clients
· Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work within high-pressure time constraints
· Effective critical thinker with the ability to resolve complex client service issues
· Technical aptitude with the ability to learn systems and processes quickly
· Willingness to travel and work outside of normal business hours, as needed
Responsibilities:
Work in conjunction with Senior Principal/Directors/Managing Directors (MD) to manage an assigned book of business, with a focus on the healthcare industry (medical malpractice, general liability, workers compensation, automobile, excess liability, property, captives, risk financing solutions, etc.)
· Responsible for coordination and execution of administrative and service functions for assigned accounts
· Thoroughly and timely manage Patient Compensation Fund enrollments
· Roster management for Professional Liability
· Support the implementation of new lines of coverage by setting up account in agency management system/shared drive, collecting needed documentation, and reviewing on-boarding details with client and carrier
· Gather and compile exposure information, including loss-runs and stratifications
· Responsibility in the preparation of the submission documentation. Must be prepared to receive to transmit to markets, if prompted by Director/MD.
· Request and collect new and renewal quotes from carriers
· Audit policies, quotes, binders, and endorsements to ensure accuracy and completeness
· Update specifications, applications, and summary information to reflect changes throughout the policy year
· Bind coverage under the direction of the Directors/Managing Directors/Producers
· Generate marketing and informational material for client presentations and meetings
· Create and send compliance communications, as needed
· Assist with the issuance and processing of client invoicing and bill discrepancies. This will also involve working with the Surplus Lines Department, as needed.
· Utilize a curious mindset to research healthcare industry trends and governmental regulations that may impact the client and/or Symphony
· Manage and oversee the Certificate of Insurance and ID card process.
· Support the teams with Image Right filing/Shared Drive, managing open items list, and contract reviews
· Additional tasks, as requested by leadership
· Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact with the "Symphony" at all levels.
