Job Overview
Symphony Risk Solutions LLC is seeking a dynamic Property and Casualty Energy Broker/Producer to work alongside and cooperatively with our President, Symphony Energy to drive sales focused in the renewable energy industry. This is a full-time hybrid opportunity in the New York City metropolitan area with the flexibility for remote work.
Salary Range: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience as a licensed property/casualty energy broker
- Knowledge of energy insurance markets
- Proven sales skills
- Strong understanding of the energy industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Certified Energy Manager, Energy Risk Professional) are a plus
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit or stand at a desk.
- Must be able to physically operate desktop computers, multiple monitors, proprietary software, phones, and common office equipment.
- Occasional bending, reaching, and light lifting (up to 10 lbs.) is required.
- The ability to effectively listen, understand, and communicate by telephone and in person is important to fulfilling the essential functions of the job.
Work Environment:
- This position is a hybrid position in our New York City office with the opportunity for remote work.
- Occasionally working after hours may be required in order to meet the demands and deadlines associated with the position.
- Occasional travel is also required.
- The work environment involves the use of typical office equipment such as computer, printer, telephone, etc. in a controlled climate.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible and accountable to achieve annual new business revenue goals through consultive sales to new clients.
- Develop and manage an active pipeline of qualified prospects, generating leads, cold calling, networking, and client referrals.
- Collaborate on the development of the sales and marketing plans within Symphony Energy.
- Ability to work on multiple coverage lines.
- Responsible for developing and presenting customized insurance programs to meet the client’s needs.
- Review prospective insureds policy coverage limits, language and accuracy for suitability and gaps.
- Perform special projects at the request of clients or management.
- Thorough understanding of insurance products and services.
- Excellent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate with colleagues, clients, and insurers to give and receive accurate information.
- Proficiency of Microsoft products - Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
