STEVENS BOCK & MARRIN LLC in beautiful Clinton Township, MI is now hiring for an Insurance Sales Representative. After purchasing the agency in 2010, we have since acquired two additional agencies and rolled them all into one location. We are proud of the success and awards our agency has earned throughout the years including almost $8 million in our books. Our space has three enclosed offices and three additional workspaces around the building. With 4 full-time employees, we are excited to add an additional member to our office. 

We pride ourselves on our excellent culture, and seeking someone who wants to be a part of that strong team. Our office works together to create a welcoming environment for all staff members. We are flexible with our staff and focus more on the work being done compared to the hours being logged. We get together as a team monthly for our sales meetings to allow feedback from the team. In this role, you will continuously build relationships with our clients to overcome objections and close sales. Our team takes pride in customizing the insurance needs of each of our clients and providing exceptional customer service. $750 Signing bonus for having an active State of Michigan insurance license

Entry-level candidates start at a base salary of $32, 000 a year with the opportunity to earn an additional $55,000 in commission. 

Experienced candidates start at a base salary of $40,000 a year with the opportunity to earn an additional $60,000 in commission.

Salary Range: $32,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • 1 year of previous sales experience is required. 
  • Basic computer software knowledge.
  • A team player who is self-motivated and driven to succeed.
  • A self-starter who is goal-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including professional phone and office etiquette.
Responsibilities
  • With your excellent relationship-building talents, you’ll be following up with clients to ensure satisfaction. 
  • With your keen attention to detail, you’ll be closing sales to meet sales goals set by management (e.g. 15-20 items per month).
  • Using your excellent presentation skills, you'll be working with clients to cross-sell and round out client accounts. 
  • Utilizing your negotiation skills, you’ll be overcoming objections and winning back former clients. 
  • Thoroughly understand market trends and products and carefully listen to each client to ensure you can educate and advise them on the best policies to fit their unique needs.
