Job Overview

As a Personal Lines Insurance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling auto, home, recreational (toys), and life insurance to individuals and families. This role requires a proactive approach to prospecting new clients, building lasting relationships, and actively engaging in the community to drive business growth.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

A self-motivated, goal-oriented sales professional.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Willingness to make outbound calls daily to generate leads.

Passion for community involvement and networking.

Willingness to utilize social media to market to potential clients and build your own brand within The agency and Farmers Insurance.

Prior insurance sales experience is preferred but not required—we will train the right candidate!

Must be able to obtain or currently hold a state insurance license for MO & KS.

Responsibilities

 Generate new business through outbound calls, referrals, and networking.

Build relationships with bankers, mortgage loan officers, and other referral partners to drive consistent lead flow.

Engage in community activities and events to promote brand awareness.

Utilize social media marketing to connect with potential clients and establish an online presence.

Assess client needs and recommend personalized insurance solutions.

Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clients understand their coverage options.

Meet or exceed sales targets and agency performance goals.
