What Were Looking For

Core Responsibilities of a Bilingual Insurance Agent

1. Client Communication & Service

Assist clients in both English and Spanish (or other second language) to explain coverage options clearly.

Answer questions about auto, home, life, health, and commercial insurance policies.

Provide policy comparisons, quotes, and renewal options.

Handle claims support and guide clients through the process in their preferred language.

2. Sales & Lead Generation

Prospect and follow up with leads from in-house clients, referrals, and community outreach.

Educate clients on coverage needs and recommend tailored solutions.

Meet or exceed sales goals for personal lines, commercial, life, or health insurance.

3. Policy Management

Process applications, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations accurately.

Maintain client records in the agency CRM.

Ensure all required documents are completed and compliant with state and carrier regulations.

4. Community Outreach

Represent the agency at local events, community centers, or bilingual networks.

Build relationships in bilingual communities to expand agency visibility.

Translate marketing materials, flyers, and social media posts if needed.

5. Team Collaboration

Work with agency staff to route leads, share best practices, and improve customer service.

Provide feedback on bilingual client needs to improve agency processes.
