Insurance Sales Agent


Job Overview

Due to our agency's growth we are looking to add a Personal Lines licensed sales agent to add to our growing sales team. We have a fun family environment with a terrific work/life balance focusing on helping more people throughout the state live well protected.

Qualifications include:

- Must be a "people person"

- Must be assertive, a self-starter and goal-oriented

- Must be coachable, positive, outgoing, ethical, and able to influence others

- Sales experience required, sales leadership a plus

- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written

Responsibilities include connecting with prospective, current, and past clients for:

- Home Insurance

- Auto Insurance

- Renters Insurance

- Specialty Insurance (Umbrella, Boat, Motorcycle, RV)

Salary plus monthly commission, quarterly bonus eligibility (both individual and team), Paid vacation, Health benefits, Matching % 401k

Location: Hoover, AL

Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Requirements

Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.

Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.

Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.

A Property & Casualty license is preferred but will train good individual.

Prior Sales Experience.

Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.

Strong work ethic and leadership skills.

Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Driven and goal-oriented individual.

Responsibilities

Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.

Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.

Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.

Maintains phone time or sales quotas as determined by management.

Presents and explains insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals.

Educate clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs
