Ford ASSET Technician (OC Sponsorship) 

This opportunity is for Odessa College students that have enrolled into the Ford ASSET program. 

Ford Automotive Student Service Educational Training (ASSET) 

Drive your passion and make it a career with the ASSET program. ASSET is the only program with a paid internship allowing you to earn while you learn. Students alternate for eight weeks in the classroom and eight weeks with their sponsoring Ford or Lincoln dealer over a two-year period. At the end of the two years, they earn an associate's degree and valuable in-dealer experience.? 

A truly UNIQUE experience! Students will have the opportunity to engage in a co-operative learning experience at Odessa College and at a Ford dealership over the course of their training. These mentorship opportunities from industry professionals will provide hands-on experience with the latest in industry technology and expertise. Students will take the knowledge they learn in the classroom and utilize it at Sewell Ford Lincoln.

Qualifications: 

To be successful in this position, the individual must be able to perform each job responsibility satisfactorily, have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, complete a drug screening, background screening, and provide all government I-9 requirements. A combination of education, experience, and training is always considered.
