We are seeking a dependable and experienced Certified Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Required Qualifications
Valid Electrician License or Journeyman/Master Electrician certification as required by state or local jurisdiction.
Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent technical training.
Proven experience as a certified electrician (typically 2–5+ years preferred).
Strong understanding of electrical theory, codes, regulations, and safety practices.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical instructions.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills & Abilities
Experience working on residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and advanced diagnostic tools.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry heavy tools and equipment as needed.
Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights (ladders/scaffolds), and various environmental conditions.
Capable of standing, kneeling, climbing, and walking for extended periods.
Working Conditions
Work may be performed on construction sites, residential homes, commercial facilities, and industrial environments. Availability for emergency service calls after hours is likely.
Key Responsibilities
These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, outlets, and related components.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documents to plan work.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems and malfunctions; implement effective repairs.
Ensure all electrical installations and repairs comply with applicable safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
Test electrical systems and components for continuity, safety, and functionality using standard testing tools.
Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on electrical equipment.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, contractors, and team members to complete projects efficiently.
Respond to emergency service calls as required.
