We are seeking a skilled and certified HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings. The ideal candidate must be safety-focused, customer-oriented, and capable of diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency.

Required Qualifications
HVAC certification from an accredited program or trade school.
EPA Section 608 certification (universal preferred) required for refrigerant handling.
Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to read technical diagrams, blueprints, and wiring schematics.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
Familiarity with a variety of HVAC systems including forced air, refrigeration, heat pumps, and ductless systems.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
Experience with preventive maintenance schedules and energy-efficient system optimization.
Work Environment
HVAC technicians typically work in diverse environments, including indoor and outdoor locations, attics, mechanical rooms, rooftops, and crawl spaces. Work may involve exposure to various weather conditions and requires adherence to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment. Availability for emergency service calls after hours is likely.
These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Install, test, and commission new HVAC systems, components, and controls in compliance with codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications.
Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and cleaning of HVAC units to enhance performance and reliability.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system faults, and complete effective repairs.
Handle refrigerant charging, recovery, and compliance with EPA regulations.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work orders, and technical manuals.
Maintain accurate work records, logs of services performed, time and materials used, and service documentation.
Advise customers or building managers on system operation, maintenance practices, and energy-saving solutions.
Respond to emergency service calls and provide timely solutions as needed.
Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements while on job sites.
