Job Summary:
The Window Tint Technician is responsible for professionally installing window film on customer vehicles according to company standards and shop manager direction. This role involves precision, attention to detail, and excellent customer service. The technician ensures that every tint job is performed with high-quality workmanship and in compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED.
· Prior experience with window tinting preferred (but not always required).
· Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
· Knowledge of state window tint laws (can be trained).

Working Conditions and Schedule:
· Indoor shop environment with exposure to heat and chemicals.
· May involve standing for long periods, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
· Entails a 40-hour work week
Key Responsibilities:
Window Tint Installation:
· Measure, cut, and apply automotive window film to vehicle windows using a plotter machine as well as custom cutting.
· Use heat guns, squeegees, knives, and other tools to install film without wrinkles, bubbles, or damage.
· Remove old tint safely and cleanly, when necessary.
· Ensure a clean and dust-free work area to prevent contamination under the film.
Quality Control:
· Inspect work to ensure a flawless finish.
· Perform any necessary touch-ups or corrections before returning the vehicle to the customer.
· Keep detailed records of each job (film type, percentage, etc.).
Maintenance & Safety:
· Maintain clean and organized workspaces and equipment.
· Follow safety procedures when using tools, chemicals, and film materials.
· Keep up to date with the latest tinting technologies and regulations.
Other Duties:
· Assist in training new technicians, if applicable.
· Support other shop tasks when required (detailing, vinyl wrap, or basic shop upkeep).
