Job Overview

A Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for maintaining solid customer relationships by handling personal lines insurance inquires and concerns with a sense or urgency and professionalism through daily interactions with customers, carriers, and fellow employees.

Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
  • Display leadership competencies, including ability to delegate, engage, and inspire others.
  • Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills
  • Technology and computer proficiency
  • Ability and tact to handle difficult customer phone calls and solve complex problems without direct supervision.
Responsibilities
  • Resolve product or service issues by clarifying the customer's concern, determining the cause of the issue, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the issue, expediting correction or adjustment, following up to ensure resolution
  • Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, comments, and actions taken in the agency management system
  • Actively solicit increases in coverage or rounding out accounts at every service contact
  • Answer customer calls and correspondence regarding new or existing insurance policies and service all claims, as well as administrative duties such as answering phones, greeting visitors and assisting with mail.

After a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer, Ted left his children, Pete and Amy, to carry on his legacy. Under their management, the Seagroves Agency has grown from three locations to ten and is transitioning from a Nationwide exclusive agency to an independent agency.
