Job Overview

As a California Licensed Insurance Producer with Farmers Insurance, you will be part of a team that is helping to grow the revenue of a Farmers Insurance office by offering various insurance products that people need for their security, financial stability, and peace of mind. We are seeking a passionate, hard-working, self-driven, and natural-born salesperson to become an insurance sales representative. Our newest Licensed Insurance Producer will pursue and respond to the requests and needs of prospects and current clients who need insurance coverage through Farmers Insurance. This position includes but is not limited to cold-calling, client servicing, issuing quotes, and other administrative tasks as needed.

We will help you acquire licensing and provide in-person training on anything and everything Farmers Insurance!

Salary Range: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Requirements
  • Property and Casualty license (required)
  • Life and Health license (preferred)
  • Customer Service skills
  • Excellent Phone etiquette
  • Self-driven
  • Willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful, and coachable
  • Goal-oriented work ethic
  • Strong communication skills
  • Sales experience (preferred)
  • Bilingual preferred (fluent in both English and Spanish is preferred)
  • Associate or BS degree (preferred)
  • Timely correspondence
Responsibilities
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established
  • Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc
  • Contacting potential clients and creating rapport by networking, cold calling, and using referrals
  • Designing and implementing effective marketing strategies to sell new insurance contracts or adjust existing ones
  • Develop and issue insurance quotes for agents, make sales presentations, and close sales
  • Develop ongoing relationships with potential and active clients
  • Generic administrative tasks as needed
  • Assess and identify the needs and wants of your customer(s) over the phone
  • Check insurance claims to solidify trust and safeguard the reputation of agents and Farmers Insurance
