Scott Behrends Farmers Insurance is a full-time insurance sales agency serving clients across the Littleton, CO area. We're a growing team focused on doing right by our clients , helping them protect what matters most with the right auto, home, and life coverage.

We're hiring a full-time Insurance Sales Agent to join our office. You'll be responsible for generating new business through prospecting and referrals, managing an active client book, and delivering a consistent, professional client experience. This is a sales-forward role with clear production expectations — it's a strong fit for someone who wants structure, coaching, and real earning potential.

Office Location: 8355 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Suite 102, Littleton, CO 80128

Schedule: Monday–Friday | No evenings | Holidays off

Compensation:

  • Variable Compensation: Uncapped commission plan, 50% of all new business commissions
  • Fixed Compensation: $40,000 base salary

Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Requirements

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and phone
  • Comfortable in a sales environment with outbound prospecting expectations
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Proficiency with standard computer tools (email, CRM, Microsoft Office)

Preferred:

  • Active Colorado P&C insurance license (or willingness to obtain before start)
  • Prior experience in insurance sales, financial services, or a client-facing sales role
  • Familiarity with CRM software
Responsibilities

Client Communication and Support:

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to clients regarding insurance products, coverage options, and policy details.
  • Assist clients with policy inquiries, changes, endorsements, renewals, and claims processing.

Policy Management and Administration:

  • Process insurance policy applications, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure all client records and policy documents are up-to-date, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain organized and detailed files for easy retrieval and reference.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients, fostering trust and confidence in our company.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with clients to ensure their insurance needs are met and address any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell additional insurance products to clients.

Claims Assistance and Support:

  • Assist clients with the claims process, including filing claims, gathering documentation, and liaising with insurance carriers.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients throughout the claims process, ensuring timely resolution and satisfactory outcomes.
  • Communicate with claims adjusters and underwriters to expedite claims processing and resolution.

Product Knowledge and Education:

  • Stay informed about the range of insurance products offered by our company, including coverage options, exclusions, and limitations.
  • Educate clients on their insurance policies, explaining coverage details, benefits, and potential gaps.
  • Provide recommendations and advice to clients on insurance products and coverage enhancements.
