Experienced Customer Service Representative - Commercial Insurance


Job Overview

The Commercial Customer Service Representative will manage a book of business accounts. The responsibilities include gathering renewal information from clients, handling renewal proposals, doing online rating, providing COI’s and working with accounts on policy changes, endorsements and claims coordination. Working in conjunction with other CSRs, you will provide support on renewal setups, ordering loss runs, follow renewal processing procedures and assist with special projects.

Salary Range: $42,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Requirements

  • A firm understanding of personal and commercial lines insurance
  • Must maintain a high attention to detail when working at a varying pace and managing multiple tasks with adjusting priorities.
  • Understanding of Excess and Surplus Lines
  • Property and Casualty Licensed required
  • Life, Accident and Health Licensed preferred
Responsibilities
  • Working renewals of Commercial Lines Department accounts and managing expiration lists
  • Gathering and confirming information for new and renewal business through telephone, Teams meetings and email contact with clients and underwriters.
  • Proactively prepare renewal specifications and update underwriters
  • Prepare proposal for new and renewal business
  • Rate online accounts for existing and new business
  • Process endorsements, policy changes and verify accuracy
  • Invoicing and processing finance agreements
  • Prepare COI’s and Schedules of Insurance and distribute accordingly
  • Ordering loss runs and coordinating on claims reporting
  • Timely policy checking and delivery to clients by email
  • Work with Surplus Lines Brokers and their team
  • Assist with questions, audits and client reviews
