The Commercial Insurance Processor plays a vital role within our service team. This individual is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of policy data, supporting account managers and producers through critical processing tasks, and delivering fast, friendly client service on day-to-day requests.

Salary Range: $30,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year

1+ years of insurance agency experience (Commercial Lines preferred but not required).
Must have an active Alabama Property and Casualty Insurance License.
Experience processing certificates of insurance strongly preferred.
Familiarity with general insurance coverages and terminology.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Primary Responsibilities:
Process Certificates of Insurance (COIs) accurately and timely based on client and certificate holder requests.
Enter and maintain accurate client and policy data within the agency management system.
Perform initial policy checking to ensure coverage, limits, deductibles, and endorsements match what was quoted and proposed.
Audit client and carrier files to verify documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with agency standards.
Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and renewals per instructions from Account Managers or Producers.
Download policy documents and carrier correspondence into the agency management system.
Track, follow-up, and obtain missing policy documents or endorsements from carriers as needed.
Assist in preparing renewal documents, client summaries, and presentations.
Maintain accurate certificate templates for all COI clients.
Perform routine data clean-up projects within the management system to improve data integrity.
Support special projects and other operational or processing duties as assigned.
