Insurance Sales Representative
Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate, self-driven, natural born sales person with a desire to make a difference in people’s lives. As our newest insurance sales representative you will sell, market, and service our insurance products to existing clients and new customers. As a full-time sales representative you will help individuals, families, and small businesses secure their tomorrows. This position requires you to have your Property and Casualty license, if you do not have this license please do not apply. This will be considered a hybrid role once you are trained on the American family products and systems. You will be required to work at least three business days a week at that time from office.
Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Requirements
- Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
- Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
- Create relationships from a cold start.
- Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
- Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
- Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
- Prior Sales Experience.
- Must be awesome at opening doors and getting appointments from a cold start.
- Must be highly self-motivated.
- Follow through and exceed current and prospective client expectations.
- Great Customer Service Skills.
- Problem-Solving Capabilities.
- Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
- Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
Responsibilities
- Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
- Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
- Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
- Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
- Process customer policy change requests.
- Develop new Financial Services opportunities.
- Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
- Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
- Maintain knowledge of new products.
- Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
- Generating insurance quotes.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Be outstanding at relationship building.
