Sales Representative


Job Overview

As an Insurance Agent, you will guide clients in selecting personalized insurance solutions that best fit their needs. Your role includes explaining coverage options—such as life, health, property, and casualty insurance—assessing client requirements, and recommending tailored policies.

You’ll assist with policy applications, handle renewals, and provide ongoing support, including claims assistance. Building and maintaining strong client relationships is essential, requiring proactive networking, follow-ups, and exceptional service to ensure satisfaction and generate referrals.

Salary Range: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Requirements

Multilingual Advantage: Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, Vietnamese, or Russian is highly valued.

Preferred Credentials: Possession of a Life & Health and/or Property & Casualty license is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Client Acquisition: Proactively identify and engage potential clients through networking, cold calling, and referrals to drive business growth.

Product Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of insurance products to effectively communicate their value and benefits.

Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to educate and engage prospective clients.

Needs Assessment: Evaluate client needs and provide tailored insurance solutions that align with their goals and financial situation.

Sales Performance: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and quotas, demonstrating a results-driven approach.

Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term client relationships through regular follow-ups, personalized service, and ongoing support.

Negotiation & Closing: Skillfully negotiate terms, address objections, and close sales to maximize client satisfaction and retention.

Customer Support: Offer exceptional post-sale service, assisting with policy renewals, claims, and any concerns.

Market & Industry Insight: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.

Sales Reporting: Prepare and present detailed sales reports and forecasts to track progress and inform business strategies.

Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all sales activities align with legal regulations and company policies, maintaining professionalism and integrity.
