For the Producer Who's Ready for More
You're good at what you do. You've built relationships, you know how to prospect, and you've earned your results. But somewhere along the way, the place you work stopped feeling like the right fit — the support changed, the culture shifted, or the ceiling became obvious.
If you're not looking for a job but the job — a team you can grow with long-term — we'd like to introduce ourselves.
About Us
Ricci Insurance Group is an independent agency that has spent 11 years building what most producers spend their careers looking for: the right infrastructure, culture, and carrier access to match real ambition. We've been recognized as an INC 5000 company, a JBJ Fast 50 winner (2024 & 2025), a Best Place to Work, and a Best Agency for Retention — that last one matters, because the people who join us tend to stay.
What You'll Find Here
A dedicated support team handles service and administrative work so you stay focused on building relationships and closing business. We maintain access to competitive, sought-after carriers, and we're selective about where we place business, which means you go to market with quality options. Compensation includes base salary plus a strong commission structure designed for producers serious about income growth.
Who Thrives Here
Our best producers came from places where they outgrew the opportunity. They're relationship-driven, community-rooted, and quietly competitive. They don't need someone standing over them. They just need the right platform to perform. If you have a track record of referral-based business, hold yourself to a high standard, and want to build a book somewhere that will still be the right home five years from now, we should talk.

What We're Looking For
A valid 2-20 or 4-40 insurance license is required, or the demonstrated ability and commitment to obtain one quickly. We're looking for candidates with at least one year of insurance sales experience, though what matters most is that you've been in a producer or sales role long enough to know how to build relationships, manage a pipeline, and close business with integrity.
Familiarity with Applied Epic or a similar agency management system is a plus, though not a dealbreaker for the right person.
Role Overview
As a Producer at Ricci Insurance Group, you'll build and grow a book of business by doing what good producers do best — developing relationships, understanding risk, and delivering solutions clients can trust. This is a consultative, relationship-driven role with the support structure and carrier access to back you up.
What You'll Be Doing
Building Your Pipeline
Proactively identify new business opportunities through networking, community involvement, and referral relationships. You own your pipeline, and you'll have the tools and support to grow it consistently.
Having the Right Conversations
Lead discovery conversations that go beyond surface-level quoting. Understand what clients actually need, where their exposures are, and how to design coverage that reflects their real risk profile.
Cultivating Referral Relationships
Develop trusted, long-term partnerships with professionals and community contacts who send their clients your way because they know you'll take care of them.
Owning the Sales Process
From first conversation to close, you'll manage the full cycle through strategy, proposal, and follow-through with the goal of building a quality book, not just hitting a number.
Presenting with Clarity and Confidence
Deliver tailored proposals that help clients understand their options and feel confident in their decisions. Your job isn't to sell; it's to advise well enough that the sale follows naturally.
Staying Sharp on the Market
Keep current on carrier appetite, coverage trends, and legislative changes so your guidance is always informed and your clients always feel like they're working with someone who knows the landscape.
Managing Your Business Like a Business
Use the agency's technology and workflows to stay organized, move efficiently, and deliver a consistently professional client experience.
This role suits someone who takes pride in their craft, wants ownership over their results, and is looking for a place where doing things the right way is the standard, not the exception.
