5+ Years of P&C Insurance Experience in Florida: You know the Florida market inside and out, including key carriers, underwriting challenges, and what it takes to win.
Proven Sales Record: Must have personally sold a minimum of $1M+ in premium per year for multiple years.
Leadership Experience: Prior management experience is not required, but strong leadership traits are. You've mentored others, set the pace, and led by example.
Strong Communication Skills: You're clear, direct, and inspiring. You know how to have both encouraging and tough conversations.
Tech-Savvy & Organized: Familiarity with Applied Epic or similar systems is a plus.
Licensed: Must hold a valid 2-20 license.
Coach & Lead Producers: Inspire and mentor our sales team to consistently hit and exceed their premium goals.
Drive Sales Strategy: Analyze performance metrics, identify gaps, and implement action plans to increase productivity and closing ratios.
Recruit & Onboard: Help identify top-tier sales talent and play a key role in onboarding and training new producers.
Support Business Development: Collaborate with leadership to develop referral partnerships, improve cross-sell opportunities, and support growth initiatives.
Hold High Standards: Reinforce expectations for communication, follow-through, and client advocacy consistent with our core values.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with our leadership team from all departments to make sure the new business team has what it needs to succeed.
Promote Accountability: Conduct regular 1:1s, sales meetings, and pipeline reviews to ensure focus, progress, and alignment across the team.
