Job Overview
OVERVIEW:
Our Agency Support Specialists are a crucial part of our agency support team. They provide 5-star customer service to our existing clients, assisting them with everything from policy reviews and coverage changes to policy reshops/rewrites, and writing additional lines of business. Keen attention to detail, superior customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently are the keys to success in this role.
Candidates must be local to the Jacksonville, FL area!
Technology Skills:
Proficient with using CRM or Agency Management Software
Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel & Word
Familiar with Google Suite products (E-mail, Messaging, Google Sheets, etc.)

Compensation
This career opportunity offers a base salary of $45-55k per year.

Requirements
Specifications:
No insurance experience is required! We help candidates get their 4-40 licenses quickly before their start date. We prioritize a positive attitude, being a quick learner and team player, combined with a fast pace of work over prior insurance industry experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate interested in starting a career in insurance with lots of room for growth within the company.
Responsibilities
- Understand and be able to explain various types of insurance coverage to consumers
- Interact with clients and colleagues in a proactive, friendly, and professional manner.
- Equip clients to make decisions regarding changing coverage needs and additional available coverage options throughout the client lifecycle.
- Field underwrite and respond to underwriter follow-ups on all lines of business
- Process payments, and endorsement requests and maintain policies within the agency
- Proficient technology skills to navigate a variety of internal platforms and external carrier platforms
- Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Empathetic, active listening skills with the ability to ask appropriate follow-up questions
- Consistently deliver a client-focused experience using multiple channels of communication
- Ability to prioritize various tasks effectively and own a task or procedure from start to finish
