This position offers unlimited earning potential, expert training, and a clear path to agency ownership in 12 months.

As an Agent Trainee, you’ll engage with clients to assess their insurance needs and provide tailored insurance solutions. With personalized training and direct mentorship from an experienced agency leader, you’ll refine your sales techniques, develop business insights, and gain the confidence needed to run a successful insurance agency.

Requirements

Licensing:

  • Active Texas General Lines Property & Casualty (P&C) License.
  • Active Texas Life & Health Insurance License.

Sales Experience:

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry, but not required.
  • Strong ability to engage clients, communicate effectively, and close deals.

Entrepreneurial Mindset:

  • Motivated to pursue agency ownership and take initiative in growing a business.
  • Desire to work independently and contribute to long-term agency success.

Goal-Oriented:

  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and communicate complex insurance products clearly.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Time Management and Organization:

  • Strong organizational skills to manage client accounts, schedules, and follow-ups.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.).
Responsibilities

Client Engagement and Needs Assessment:

  • Connect with prospective clients to understand their insurance needs.
  • Provide customized insurance solutions for personal and commercial clients, including Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health coverage.

Sales and Lead Generation:

  • Actively prospect new clients and build a robust pipeline of leads.
  • Achieve sales goals through networking, referrals, and cold calling.

Insurance Sales:

  • Recommend appropriate insurance products based on client needs and preferences.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of various insurance options.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Foster long-term relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Training and Development:

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and sales training.
  • Receive mentorship from an experienced agency leader to refine sales techniques.

Path to Agency Ownership:

  • Work toward agency ownership by demonstrating the ability to meet sales targets, manage client relationships, and operate as an independent business owner.
  • Develop leadership and managerial skills for agency growth.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policies, and claims.
  • Adhere to all company policies and state regulations to ensure compliance.
