We are seeking an Entrepreneurial-minded individual to join our growing team! This role will allow you to learn the Insurance Industry under the guidance and support of an existing successful Agency, while being trained and prepped with a clear roadmap to becoming an Agency Owner.

• The Protégé Program is designed to provide individuals an opportunity to step into the Insurance Industry and grow their skills and business knowledge to become a Farmers Agency Owner while being mentored by one of our top Agents.

• The Protégé will have access to the award-winning University of Farmers program as well as unlimited local support from the District Office.

Salary Range: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Exceptional follow-up skills and able to prioritize and multitask
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses
• Spanish Speaking is a plus

• Handle customer inquiries
• Sell and Solicit / Provide information about the products and services
• Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
• Document and update customer records based on interactions
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
• Compensation is base plus commission structure
• Work closely with the Agency Owner to gain an understanding of Agent Ownership role.
• Will be provided leads to help generate sales
• Immersed into the Farmers culture and the insurance industry
• Given the opportunity to work with the Agency owner and the District office to learn the recruiting process
• Agency owner will make themselves and staff available to train and coach the Protégé
• Uncapped earning potential based on hitting all sales goals
• Opportunity to Open a Farmers Agency upon successful graduation of the Protégé Program
