Job Overview
Our District Office in Salt Lake City, Utah is looking to add an Agency Business Consultant to their team. The Agency Business Consultant is a dedicated business coach who helps Farmers® agency owners drive growth in their business. Working for the District Manager, this position typically conducts regular agency consultations to assist agents in establishing business goals and developing strategies to execute those goals.
Salary Range: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Requirements
- Able to manage multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment
- Previous business ownership experience or strong business acumen
- Possesses a history in sales management or insurance/financial services
- Strong time management skills that enhance productivity
- Use problem-solving abilities to help business owners establish and execute their goals
- Must pass a background check including (credit, criminal, regulatory, and driving history)
- Must be licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health or willing to obtain ASAP
- A college degree is preferred but will consider solid insurance and sales experience
- The ideal candidate will have strong PC skills, Excel, presentation skills, strong analytical skills and conflict resolution skills
- FARMERS experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, coach, and support the progress of full-time agencies; analyze current state and provide recommendations for increased productivity and profitability.
- Assist individuals coming through new agent entry points with office locations, agency setup, business planning, and recommendations regarding staffing, effective marketing systems, and training.
- Assist with new agent onboarding, conduct performance reviews, and help build strategies to achieve their goals.
- Train Agents and Agency staff on new products and systems
- Prepare and run district meetings
- Assist in agent planning reviews
- Organize/review all recruiting and training materials
- Set up and manage sales promotions
- Prioritize activities to help agency owners drive return for their agency and district growth
- May conduct interviews during the District Manager's recruiting process, especially for highly capitalized agents
- Engage in and enhance District Recruiting systems to achieve goals
- Provide required information to agents about the policies, practices, and procedures of the Companies
- ·Perform administrative and other miscellaneous office duties as assigned.
