Entry Level Customer Services Representative
Job Overview
Farmers Insurance is actively looking to hire Customer Services Representatives to add to our growing agencies. Compensation starts $18/hr and can go up to $20 after obtaining state insurance licenses and required training. Position also provides opportunities to earn additional compensation/commission by cross-selling additional insurance products to existing customers and new policies to new customers.
Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Requirements
- Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Proficiency to multi-task, follow-through and follow-up.

- Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.
- Property and Casualty Licensed required... willing to train the right candidate
- Life, Accident and Health Licensed required... willing to train the right candidate
Responsibilities
- Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
- Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
- Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
- Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
- Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers.
- Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe.
