Property & Casualty Account Manager


Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of personal and commercial insurance clients. You’ll manage policy renewals, service requests, and endorsements, while identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and grow revenue.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Requirements
  • 1+ years’ experience in property & casualty insurance account management (Farmers Agency experience a plus)
  • Property & Casualty license 
  • Knowledge of personal P&C products, & coverages
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities
  • Proficiency with agency management systems (Salesforce, AgencyZoom, or similar) and MS Office
  • A team player with a proactive mindset and drive to exceed goals
Responsibilities
  • Serve as day‑to‑day liaison for assigned book of business—respond promptly to client calls, emails, and portal inquiries
  • Process policy changes, renewals, cancellations, endorsements, and certificates of insurance
  • Conduct annual coverage reviews and risk assessments for personal (home, auto, renters) and commercial lines (GL, property, BOP, workers’ comp)
  • Develop and present tailored recommendations to optimize client coverage and pricing
  • Collaborate with producers and underwriters to secure competitive quotes and negotiate terms
  • Identify cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities; achieve assigned retention and growth targets
  • Assist clients through claims reporting and advocacy, ensuring a smooth, supportive experience
  • Maintain accurate policy documentation and CRM records
