Job Description:

We're committed to providing our clients with outstanding customer service and support. We're seeking a friendly and reliable Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, answering questions, and providing personalized insurance solutions. You must be able to multi-task and work well in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong desire to help others. 

No previous insurance experience? No problem!

If you possess excellent customer service skills and are enthusiastic about learning and mastering new things, we strongly encourage you to apply for this entry-level opportunity. Your previous experience in another industry would be a definite plus. Our on-the-job training will help launch you into a successful career in the insurance industry. Entry-level applicants can expect a base salary of $27,000 with additional commission and bonuses! In addition, we offer a Monday thru Friday schedule, PTO, and much more!

If you are an experienced insurance customer service representative looking for a new opportunity, this is the place for you. You must have an active Property and Casualty License and experience in the insurance industry. Experienced applicants can expect a base salary of up to $36,000 per year with additional commission and bonuses! In addition, we offer a Monday thru Friday schedule, PTO, and much more!

Requirements
  • Virginia Property and Casualty License required
  • 1+ years of demonstrated success in the customer service industry. Insurance experience is a BONUS!
  • 1+ years of office environment experience while handling customers on the phone or in person. 
  • Knowledge of basic computer software.
  • Experience typing, data entry, and using a multiline phone system
  • Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve with attention to detail, accuracy, and speed.
  • Demonstrate professionalism over the phone, electronically, or in person to create a positive work environment and ensure effective communication.
Responsibilities
  • Enhance customer and business relationships by establishing loyalty and trust.
  • Ask specific questions that will provide the most relevant information to ensure you are providing correct solutions.
  • Create online insurance quotes tailored to the individual needs of the client.
  • Issue insurance documentation (COI, ID cards, etc.).
  • Utilize various computer systems for daily transactions, take premium payments, review, update, and make policy changes.
  • Resolve conflicts with customers over policy and billing issues.
  • Assist team members with challenging service calls and policy inquiries.
  • Compile necessary information before written correspondence.
  • Handle special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
