The Commercial Lines Insurance Mid-Market Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of mid-sized commercial clients. This role involves maintaining strong client relationships, providing high-quality service, ensuring proper coverage placement, and handling the day-to-day servicing of insurance accounts. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of commercial insurance products, carrier markets, and risk management strategies.
Salary Range: $83,000.00 - $93,000.00 per year

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in independent commercial property and casualty insurance account management.
Experience managing mid-market accounts across industries (e.g., manufacturing, construction, contractors).
Strong knowledge of commercial lines coverages including General Liability, Property, Workers' Compensation, Auto, Umbrella, and Specialty Lines.
Active Property & Casualty license.
Proficiency with agency management systems (EPIC preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Manage and service a book of mid-market commercial accounts (typically $25K-$250K in revenue).
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to coverage questions, billing inquiries, and other service requests.
Partner with Producers to review new business opportunities and renewals; support marketing and placement efforts.
Prepare proposals, renewals, binders, endorsements, and other documentation.
Negotiate with carriers for optimal pricing and coverage terms.
Ensure timely delivery of renewal submissions and documentation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the agency management system (EPIC).
Coordinate internally with Claims, Loss Control, and Compliance teams as needed.
Stay informed on industry trends, carrier appetites, and changes in regulations or products.
