The Protégé Agent Program is a mentorship-driven career opportunity designed for motivated professionals who want to become independent insurance agency owners. As a Protégé Agent with Farmers Insurance, you will work directly under the guidance of a successful Farmers Agency Owner while gaining hands-on experience in sales, customer service, operations, and business management.

This role is ideal for entrepreneurial individuals who are passionate about helping clients protect what matters most and who are seeking a structured path toward agency ownership.

Salary Range: $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 per month

Health Insurance

• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong desire to own and operate a business
• Sales experience preferred (insurance, financial services, retail, or B2B a plus)
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to obtain and maintain required state insurance licenses (Property & Casualty; Life & Health)
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred

• Develop and maintain client relationships through prospecting, networking, and referrals
• Educate clients on insurance products including auto, home, life, business, and specialty coverage
• Generate new business through inside and outside sales activities
• Cross-sell and up-sell policies to meet client needs
• Assist in servicing existing accounts, including policy reviews and claims support
• Learn agency operations, compliance standards, and marketing strategies
• Participate in training, mentorship sessions, and performance reviews
• Meet or exceed monthly sales and revenue goals
