Requirements
- Previous experience in a clerical role, preferably in a human resources department or related field.
- Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures, with a basic understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HRIS software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communication.
- Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and new hire paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Conduct new employee orientations and onboarding sessions, guiding new hires through company policies, procedures, and benefits enrollment.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases, updating employee information, tracking employee attendance, and generating reports as needed.
- Assist with employee relations matters, including resolving employee inquiries, addressing concerns, and facilitating communication between employees and management.
- Support HR initiatives and programs, such as performance management, employee engagement surveys, and training and development activities.
- Coordinate HR events and activities, including employee recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Assist with payroll processing tasks, including data entry, timesheet verification, and payroll reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide clerical support to the HR team, such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and maintaining departmental files and records.
